Renovation of the Blackfriars Quad

Since October 2014, Blackfriars, Oxford, has been home to diggers and countless workmen. Their primary task was to seal off the crypt which lies underneath the quad as there were signs of water leakage.
However, it was also a good opportunity to spruce-up the appearance of the quad. Above is what the quad looked like before the works began, and below you will find photographs of the works as they progressed.
The finished result!
