Fr Bede Mullens OP, ordained in summer 2024, reports from Jamaica.
Fr Bede has been assigned to the Dominican house in Jamaica for the coming years, and explains the work that the friars are doing with young people and school children, and promoting local vocations.
He also updates on the improvements made thanks to donations made in appeals in the UK in 2023.

In parts of Jamaica, poverty is such that people cannot even afford food, and there is a daily threat of gun violence.
In Grenada, some struggle even to afford to graduate from high school.
