Aquinas Institute’s Summer School 2019

Fr Nicholas Crowe OP once again led a Summer School of the Aquinas Institute (Blackfriars Hall, Oxford University) at Buckfast Abbey in Devon.

He reports:

“Our study week was our biggest ever with thirty young adults coming together to study the theology of St Thomas Aquinas in the beautiful surroundings of Buckfast Abbey. As usual, those attending the study week for the first time were offered an overview of Catholic theology taking Aquinas’ famous Summa Theologiae as a guide. Veterans from previous years were immersed in Aquinas’ ideas around who Jesus is and how he saves us. Our thanks as always go to the monastic community and staff at Buckfast for their warm hospitality.”
