Archbishop Anthony Fisher visits Blackfriars, Oxford
1.17k
His Excellency, The Most Reverend Anthony Fisher O.P., Archbishop of Sydney, Australia, recently paid a brief visit to Blackfriars Hall, Oxford.
His Excellency recalled fond memories of living at Blackfriars during the early 1990’s, when he completed an Oxford DPhil in Bioethics. Archbishop Anthony met with the Regent and Vice-Regent (pictured) who were able to bring him up to date with new developments at Blackfriars.
We are deeply grateful for Archbishop Anthony’s continuing support of Blackfriars.

I think the use of ‘His Excellency’ is a solecism. Archbishops are traditionally addressed as ‘His Grace’
