Christmas with the Dominicans

How to make your Christmas gift to the friars, and Mass times over the festive period.

Your Christmas Clergy Offering

Christmas is a time when it is customary for Catholics to make a donation to support our priests, to thank them for their service.

Last year, hundreds of donors generously gave more than £28,500 in offerings over the Christmas period! This year, donors are already sending in their donations. Could you join them in making a gift to the friars?

Here are ways that you can donate to support the needs of the Dominican Friars:

Donate Now Online

Use the link above to make a gift securely online by debit card or credit card. You can select which of our Dominican communities you would like to support.

DONATE IN PERSON
at one of our churches (in London, Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Leicester), by cash, cheque or card machine.

DONATE BY BANK TRANSFER
Just email development@english.op.org and we will supply the bank account details (note: owing to Christmas office closure, this will be after 2 January, but will still be counted as a Christmas gift).

GIFT AID
Gift Aid is available for UK taxpayers on all these options.

Celebrating Christmas with the Friars

Details are published by each of the Dominican houses about how you can join in the festivities. Christmas Mass and other service times are available on the links below.

Merry Christmas from the Dominicans’ Development Office

As always, it has been a delight meeting donors this year and witnessing the generosity that supports the friars’ mission.

Thank you for all that you do, and all that you give.

We would like to wish each of you a most blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Please note, we are taking a break from 21 December to 2 January inclusive, and look forward to seeing you in 2025!

With prayers and good wishes,

Richard Brown,
Development Director
