John Henry Newman Lecture 2019Rt Hon Ruth Kelly: ‘Creating change: reflections on government, education and faith’

The Rt. Hon. Ruth Kelly is Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research and Enterprise at St Mary’s University, Twickenham.
Ruth was the Member of Parliament for Bolton West from 1997 and 2010 and held a number of ministerial and Cabinet positions, including the post of Secretary of State at three government departments: Transport; Communities and Local Government; and Education.
Ruth has also held senior positions at HSBC Global Asset Management and is a non-executive director of Heathrow Airport Holdings.
