Training Fund campaign hits Two-Thirds Milestone

Just in time for the solemn professions of Brothers Toby, Samuel, Jordan and Luke, and the arrival in Cambridge of six novices for our province, our campaign to raise £1 million for the training of this new generation of friars crossed the two-thirds mark.
This is a major milestone on our fundraising journey, and now gives us the momentum to try to complete the funding drive by the end of next year.

Once we have raised the full amount, we calculate that this will see us through the next twenty years, in this way safeguarding our mission-directed funds from erosion by the increased influx of new recruits. We are sure you will agree that this is a very worthwhile investment in the future of our province of the Dominican Order.

We would like to express our thanks to the many who have contributed – and continue to contribute – sums of all sizes so far, including by standing order, through grants from trusts, through legacies, by sponsoring challenge events, and through many one-off gifts. We are deeply moved by such a wide response – over 600 individuals and 30 grant-making bodies have participated so far.

Please pray that we will find the remaining £330,000, and if you feel called to make a gift, you can either do so securely via our online giving page, or please contact the Development Office if you would like to give by another means (development@english.op.org or call 01865 610208).

Thanks and God bless you!
