Itinerary
We will fly with British Airways on Monday 29 July 2019 from London Gatwick at 13.00. We will be in the city of Turin from the afternoon of the 29th until the afternoon the following day. We will be staying at accommodation next to the shrine of St. John Bosco and we will have a guided tour visiting the sites associated with Bl. Pier Giorgio.
On the afternoon of 30th July we will begin our journey to the sanctuary of Oropa. During our stay in Oropa it will be possible (weather permitting) to take part in two hikes on subsequent days. The hope is to reach the summit of Mt Mucrone (with cable car taking us part of the way up). This will in large part be weather permitting. Another hike will be from the Frassati summer residence in Pollone to Oropa.
On Friday 2 August we will depart Oropa for Turin in time to catch our flight at 17.00 for London Gatwick, which is expected to arrive at 17.50. If you have any questions, please email us.
