DYA Study Day: Liturgy and Life

Study Days and Weekends

During the course of the year we gather regularly to take a deep dive into particular topics. The study days are organised out of local groups in each of our priories, and tackle the questions that arise in Christian life. What happens at Mass? How to read St Paul? How to reconcile science and faith? The day consists of some talks and discussions, as well as a light meal and time for prayer and fellowship.

We also have occasional residential study weekends and retreats, when we have a little more time to explore a theme. These are often more spiritual in focus, as preparation for a major feast such as Christmas or Easter.
