DYA Study Day: The Beauty of the Church

About the day

Join us for a study day at the Rosary Shrine in London on the signs and symbols of our churches, and the role of beauty a path to God. Fr Lawrence Lew OP will lead the day, including a couple of talks, and a tour of the Rosary Shrine. Fr Lawrence will speak on Arrested by Beauty: The church as a sign of divine Presence and Via Pulchritudinis: Beauty as a Bridge to the Good and the True.

The day will also include a workshop, prayer, fellowship, and discussion, and lunch will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but booking is essential.

Speakers

Fr Lawrence Lew OP is the global Promoter General for the Holy Rosary, overseeing the growth and promotion of the Rosary Confraternity for the worldwide Dominican Order. His book Entering Heaven on Earth: Signs, Symbols & Saints in Catholic Churches was published in Autumn 2024 by Our Sunday Visitor and by CTS in 2025.

Who is it for?

The day is open to any young adults (20s & 30s), including those looking to deepen their faith or new to the Catholic tradition.
