News | The student brothers are pleased to announce many exciting series coming up soon on Godzdogz.

With the holidays over, and the student brothers preparing for the academic term, we would like to introduce the new series we shall be offering you in the coming months.

2020, Year of the Word of God

The year 2020 has been declared a year to reflect on the importance of the Scriptures in our lives as Christians, coinciding with the 1600 years of the death of St Jerome and the 10th anniversary of Verbum Domini, Pope Benedict XVI’s Apostolic Exhortation on the Word of the Lord. To this end, the student brothers will be sharing with you their reflections on some of the Mass readings of the day to offer you an example of ways we can prayerfully approach Scripture. Here you can find more information about activities coming up this year in the dioceses of England and Wales.

Quodlibets

Resuming an old tradition of this blog, the students will be re-launching Quodlibets, a post series where we answer your questions on matters philosophical or theological – more information soon!

Vocations

Are you discerning a vocation to the religious life or to the priesthood? Do you have questions as to where to start? Are you confused by the diversity of communities, religious orders and forms of consecrated life? This new series will try to address these and other questions to help you respond to God’s calling in your life.

The student brothers will also be writing individual posts of their own choosing, addressing a variety of topics.
