Help us make the Dominicans an example of Safeguarding excellence
Dear Friends,
Could you spare just a couple of minutes to answer 4 questions?
We need people connected to the Dominicans in Britain to respond to a brief survey as part of our safeguarding audit. We are interested in hearing as many voices as possible, whether critical, favourable, or neutral.
RESPOND TO THE SURVEY
Background Information
This is a normal and important part of the wider audit process taking place across the Church in England and Wales, helping to ensure that standards for the protection of children and vulnerable adults are consistently upheld and strengthened. You can read about the audit processes of the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) here: https://catholicsafeguarding.org.uk/
As part of this process, the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) has issued a public call for information. They are inviting members of the public, survivors, volunteers, and employees to share their experiences of safeguarding. This feedback plays a valuable role in building a clear and comprehensive picture of how safeguarding is experienced in practice.
We warmly encourage anyone who wishes to contribute to take part via the link below:
Safeguarding is central to our life and mission. As a Province, we are committed not only to meeting required standards, but to continually growing in excellence. We see the work of keeping people safe as integral to our witness to the Gospel and to the trust placed in us by all those we serve.
This audit, and the opportunity to hear a range of voices, is an important step in that ongoing commitment.
Thank you, as always, for your support and for the part you play in fostering a safe and caring community.
With gratitude and best wishes,
Fr. Nicholas Paul Crowe OP,
Prior Provincial of the English Province of the Order of Preachers
