Development News – Rosary Shrine

Generous support boosts the campaign for the Rosary Shrine.

In April, St Dominic’s parishioner Wendy Searle (pictured) braved a sponsored parachute jump, raising over £1,600.

A generous legacy from Josie Bermingham, plus numerous donations from supporters and parishioners, brought us over the £400,000 mark in June, 60% of the way to our target!

This lets us move on to the next stage of works: replacing the sound and heating systems, and completing the Lady Chapel restoration, so ensuring the best experience for parishioners and pilgrims alike.

The Rosary Shrine already welcomes many groups, so just get in touch via the Shrine website if you would like to organise a visit for your parish or other group.

Find out more about the shrine’s important mission and how you can support it.

Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610, performed in May to great acclaim, was our first major concert, launching the Shrine as a cultural venue.
