On Saturday 11th July–the feast of St Benedict–Brs Oliver Keenan, O.P., and Matthew Jarvis, O.P., were ordained to the diaconate by Auxiliary Bishop of Birmingham, William Kenney. Due to the Oxford Priory church being out of use due to ceiling repair works set to take place soon (for more information on how this affects weekday and weekend services, click here), the ordinations were held at the parish church of St Aloysius, home of the Oxford Oratorian Fathers. After the Ordination Mass, a reception was held in the refectory back in the Priory. Below are a few photos taken from the day; for more photographs taken by Br Joseph Bailham, O.P., please follow this link.
