Br Bede was ordained priest in July 2024. Currently, he lives and works in Kingston, Jamaica, as a school teacher, university chaplain, and Master of Pre-Novices. He was born in Enfield and grew up in Essex, before reading Classics at St Hugh's College in the University of Oxford. It was in Oxford that he first met the Dominicans. Drawn by the example of fraternal life and the mission of preaching, he joined the Order in 2017 after completing his degree.
